A young man named Pastry is about to inherit the impoverished dominion of Morteln. Recognized for his exceptional skills for his age, he was a gifted pastry chef with a bright future in his past life. He continues to hold his passion for creating sweets that bring joy, even after being reborn as Pastry. However, he faces numerous obstacles, such as bandit attacks, troublesome and strange nobles, poor finances, and a harsh environment where even water is in short supply. His only tools to overcome these difficulties are his creativity and his love for baking. Whether he can succeed in bringing happiness to the land remains to be seen.
