Oct 4, 2020Ryoma Takebayashi is an 11-year-old boy living in the forest with over 1000 magical slime familiars. He invites noble Reinhart Jamil and his soldiers to his home, where mage Camil detects Ryoma's high resistance to mental and physical pain. Ryoma claims he learned magic from deceased grandparents, though he feels guilty for lying. In truth, he was a Japanese salaryman who died three years prior. In the afterlife, gods Gain, Lulutia, and Kufo reincarnated him to bridge his magic-rich Earth with their world. Arriving as an 8-year-old, he spent three years learning about slimes before meeting Reinhart. Two weeks later, Reinhart returns with more people, including his daughter Eliaria.

Ryoma shares knowledge about slimes, leading Eliarlia to choose a cleaner slime that requires sweat-tainted bath water as bait. The Jamil family invites Ryoma to join their trip to Gimul, which he accepts to explore beyond the forest. Ryoma uses item storage magic to transport his extensive belongings, including valuable items created through slime experimentation, prompting Reinbach to suspect he could become a skilled craftsman or merchant. During the journey, a rockslide blocks the path, but Ryoma clears it using self-created spells, impressing Reinhart's mages before they continue toward Gimul.

The gods inform him that the Gods of War and Magic have noticed him, and the God of Artisans has blessed him. Back in Gimul, he is advised to register at a guild to avoid exploitation. Eliaria is amazed by his magic control, noting she has more magic but less control. At the Tamers Guild, Ryoma learns raising his rank is difficult because slimes are unimpressive. He joins the Adventurers Guild instead, where Guild Master Worgan accepts him after seeing his warrior abilities. After a successful day, Ryoma uses healing slimes to cure Fei’s broken leg, bringing him joy. As the business grows, Ryoma hires four more female employees, including a cook.
