Ep. 5: Erika and Kyouya navigate a stressful Christmas Eve selfie promise and a confusing confession.
During Christmas break, Erika’s classmates Marin Tachibana and Aki Tezuka challenge her to share selfies with their boyfriends. Erika demands a selfie from Kyouya as proof, who reluctantly complies. Discovering Kyouya’s dislike for the holiday causes Erika significant stress and a stomachache. Kyouya takes her to a restaurant and pharmacy for medication. He then appears to confess his feelings, causing Erika to become ecstatic. However, he immediately crushes her hopes by questioning how long he must continue this charade. Erika throws water at him and leaves in anger, leaving Kyouya shocked. On Christmas Day, a depressed Erika receives a surprise visit from Kyouya, who gifts her a golden heart necklace pendant. The pair then take new selfies together.
