Sophia visits Catarina’s home with her brother Nicol, another character from Fortune Lover. Catarina compliments Sophia’s appearance, which is often criticized, and they become friends. During a visit to Sophia’s house, Catarina meets their parents and observes Nicol’s hidden affection for his family. She praises this trait, causing Nicol to smile genuinely for the first time. The narrative jumps forward seven years. Catarina is now 15 years old and prepares to enter the magic academy, marking the start of the main story of Fortune Lover.
