Sophia recalls a dream where Atsuko Sasaki wished to be Catarina's friend in her next life. During a practical exam, Catarina, Geordo, Keith, and Sophia enter a dangerous dungeon for magic stones. Catarina accidentally triggers a trap and falls into a hidden passage, finding a stone while harvesting mushrooms. Sophia, guided by Nicol's wind magic, rescues Catarina from a cliff edge. Both are saved by a mysterious whirlwind. The rest of the group joins them, and Maria notices a dark presence clinging to Catarina.
