Gilbert becomes possessed by a death god while Oz attends a ceremony led by his uncle, Oscar. The clock, silent for 100 years, suddenly strikes, summoning strange figures to abduct Oz. The possessed Gilbert attempts to kill Oz, stabbing him successfully. A girl known as the Black Rabbit arrives to fight the intruders and save Oz from being dragged into the Abyss. Gilbert briefly regains consciousness, recognizes one figure, and blocks Oz, who was attacking the intruders. Oz accidentally slashes Gilbert across the chest before being taken into the Abyss for the sin of existing.
