Ash, Goh, and Chloe travel to Driftveil City in the Unova region after hearing about a new Klink evolution. They find a deep hole, prompting Grookey and Eevee to jump inside. The trio follows, discovering a complex underground maze. Team Rocket arrives to capture Pikachu, accidentally falling into the hole as well. This leads to a chaotic chase sequence where all parties collide and run into one another within the subterranean environment.
