Ep. 1: Liko receives a mysterious letter from her grandmother regarding a glowing pendant in Kanto.

Shy Paldean student Liko arrives in Kanto to attend Indigo Academy and chooses Sprigatito as her starter Pokémon, though they face early conflicts. During the night, she meets Amethio of the Explorers group, who delivers a letter from her grandmother asking for her special pendant. Suspecting foul play, Liko flees while being chased by Amethio and his team. She is rescued by a man accompanied by a Charizard. As Liko attempts to jump from a rooftop to escape, her pendant begins to glow brightly.
