The trio encounters Gym Leader Larry at the Treasure Eatery, where Dot begins her Terastal Training test. During the battle, Dot's Quaxly evolves into Quaxwell. Despite this evolution and Dot's strategic use of Terastallization, Quaxwell is defeated by Larry's Staraptor. Larry commends Dot for her tactical approach and declares the test a success.
