At a Pokémon Center, Mollie, now working as a nurse, notices a group of injured Pokémon in the forest and rushes to aid them. Liko and Roy, having overheard details about the forest incident, decide to investigate personally. They encounter Mollie and engage in conversation. A flashback reveals that after the team discussed their futures and accepted their path forward, the Rising Volt Tacklers disbanded. Upon returning to the forest, they find more poisoned Pokémon and identify a Vileplume affected by Laquium. After battling the Vileplume, Hattrem learns Healing Wish to calm it. Finally, Cap spots a facility belonging to Exceed.
