As Cynthia focuses on her preparations for the Junior Cup tournament, Ash, Cilan, Iris, and Dawn travel to an uninhabited island seeking a relaxing break from their journey. Their peaceful getaway is quickly interrupted when they encounter a population of Onix residing on the island. These Pokémon become hostile and begin attacking the group, forcing them to defend themselves against the sudden assault. The excursion intended for leisure turns into a dangerous confrontation as the travelers must navigate the threat posed by the aggressive Onix while stranded on the remote location.
