Ep. 133: Ash recovers from loss while Team Rocket attacks Pikachu at Lake Acuity

Following a defeat by Paul, Ash broods at the Pokemon Center near Lake Acuity while his Pokemon heal. Team Rocket attempts to steal Pikachu, but Dawn tries to cheer Ash up with a circus performance. Brock spots a mysterious being, possibly the Legendary Uxie, while gathering Cheri Berries for Monferno. When Team Rocket interrupts the show and captures Pikachu, Ash rallies his team to pursue them. Buizel clears Seviper’s Haze, allowing Grotle and Staraptor to defeat Yanmega and Carnivine. Monferno uses Mach Punch to knock the villains down, enabling Pikachu’s escape. The group blasts Team Rocket away, restoring Ash’s spirit. Dawn looks forward to her upcoming Contest in Lilypad Town.
