Ep. 8: Kedamono fears the fire ring while Popee uses a decoy to perform magic tricks.

Kedamono watches television before Popee presents a magic book, challenging him to jump through a flaming ring. Both laugh initially, but Kedamono becomes worried. Popee, Kedamono, and Frog stand before the ring. Popee signals Kedamono to jump, but he refuses. Popee offers a chicken leg as a reward for the jump. Frog attempts the stunt and burns. Kedamono walks away with the chicken leg. He creates a fake version of himself. Popee returns with a cart of chicken legs and mistakes the decoy for the real Kedamono. The real Kedamono sneaks toward the food. Popee rewards the decoy with a leg after it jumps through the hoop. Kedamono reveals himself, proving the decoy was not him. He kicks the decoy, which jumps successfully again. Jealous, Kedamono tries to jump but fails, landing in the fire. The ring rolls toward Popee, who flees. The fire burns a tent. Frog wakes up as the circus burns. The episode ends with Kedamono and Popee sitting in shock.
