Ge Nie suffers a back stab from Heiyu Qilin, who disguised himself as Tianming, yet he insists on fighting Wei Zhuang. Both are students of Guigu, the mysterious Directionist School, where heirs determine the fate of every kingdom. Twelve years ago, they faced a test to stop two tigers and save two tied men. Wei Zhuang killed the tigers and saved one man while the other died. Ge Nie failed to save either because he attempted to save both. Master Guigu warned that Ge Nie would lose again if he did not overcome his kindness and become decisive. This rivalry stems from their shared training under the most enigmatic school in the world.
