Ep. 5: Tianming forgives Ge Nie after he saves her from Shengqi's attack

Two months prior, Tianming blamed Ge Nie for her pursuit by assassins. Following Ge Nie's betrayal, Ying Zheng and Li Si deployed the prisoner Shengqi to eliminate him. Shengqi attacked the pair while their carriage was trapped between cliffs. Tianming refused to exit the vehicle due to distrust, prompting Shengqi to destroy it. Ge Nie held Tianming and leaped from the cliff, shielding her from the falling wreckage and sustaining injuries. Upon landing safely, Tianming recognized her error and tearfully begged for forgiveness. Ge Nie found comfort in her renewed trust, resolving the conflict that had driven the king to send the deadly prisoner.
