These tablets force Ranma to serve Happosai openly and directly. The only method to separate the two is for Ranma to defeat Happosai in battle. This situation arises from a plan that has completely backfired, leaving Ranma in a position where he must obey his master while seeking a way to break the magical bond through combat.
