The Jusenkyo Guide journeys to Japan to perform a ceremony aimed at tapping the water table that serves as the source for the Spring of the Drowned Man. Ironically, the actual source is found in the pond located directly outside the Tendo dojo. However, the plan fails when the connection to the source becomes disconnected. As a consequence, everyone must wait one thousand years for the spring to function again.
