While Akane Tendo loses track of P-chan, Azusa Shiratori and Mikado Sanzenin, known as the Golden Pair, locate him. Azusa refuses to return the character to Akane, instead claiming ownership under the name Charlotte. This dispute forces Ranma Saotome and Akane to form an alliance against Azusa and Mikado. The conflict escalates into a competition referred to as the Charlotte Cup, where the opposing sides must contend with each other to resolve the situation regarding P-chan's custody.
