Ryoga acquires a bar of soap that appears to have permanently cured his longstanding curse. With his condition resolved, he begins making preparations for an upcoming romantic date with Akane. Meanwhile, Ranma, currently in her female form, and Shampoo become determined to obtain the magical soap for themselves. The two women attempt to seize the item from Ryoga, creating conflict as he seeks to keep the cure that has restored his normal state. This situation arises as Ryoga gets ready to meet Akane, unaware of the immediate threat posed by his rivals who are actively trying to take the soap away from him.
