A group of four men travels to Japan to locate a rare Chinese artifact known as the Dragon's Whisker, which is attached to a Japanese male with a pigtail hairstyle. They eventually identify Ranma Saotome as the possessor of this item. Ranma faces repeated attacks from the four men, who reveal their true objective. He refuses to surrender the artifact despite the assault. Although the attackers initially appear weak, they manage to remove the Dragon's Whisker from his pigtail.
