The NetSavers meet Dr. Regal, a researcher capable of helping them stop the Darkloids. During an analysis of a Dimensional Area Converter salvaged by Raika, the group uncovers that these devices operate using the souls of deleted NetNavis. Before the team can perform further examination, Darkloid SparkMan arrives and destroys the converter.
