The DarkChips have started spreading through DenTech City once more, prompting Lan to launch an investigation inside a factory to identify the individuals responsible for distributing them. During his search, Lan confronts Inukai and Rei, who manage to defeat him in combat. The situation shifts when Raika makes a reappearance. Utilizing CrossFusion, Raika is able to overpower the members of the Neo WWW, changing the dynamics of the conflict and allowing Lan to continue his pursuit of the chip distributors.
