Romeo no Aoi Sora

A young boy from the Alps of Italian Switzerland agrees to a deal with a suspicious man to cover his father's medical expenses. The arrangement requires him to cross the mountains into Milan, Italy, where he is to work as an apprentice for a chimney sweep. His journey is marked by hardship and mistreatment, but along the way, he connects with other child laborers in similar situations. These children develop strong relationships, eventually forming a close-knit group known as "The Black Brothers." They support one another through difficult circumstances, relying on their bond to survive.
