Yama Juugo, a high school student, relocated to Nanae Island, also known as the Special Student Zone, after his father expelled him from their home. He secured a solo living arrangement in room 202 of the Happy House, a one-room apartment featuring a kitchen, separate bath, and toilet. The furnished unit includes appliances and extras for a monthly rent of 5,000 yen. Upon entering his new residence, he discovers a girl relaxing inside and watching television, marking the unexpected start of his independent life on the island.
