Makoto and Kusuo support Chisato at a maid cafe, where Makoto predicts her father is in Tokyo. Kusuo meets Chisato's father, who plans to say goodbye while fleeing loan sharks, and intervenes when they attempt kidnapping. Kusuo later finds his father has become an editor for a favorite manga, introducing poor changes that bother him. The group fails to secure a cherry blossom viewing spot at the local park until Kokomi arrives. Finally, Kusuo teleports to a remote location to test his expanding psychic powers, revealing his true goal is to prevent a supervolcano in Japan from erupting.
