While Goh and Ray are resealing the Land of Revival, Gai and Maya visit a convenience store where they encounter Bambi no Mio and Rio, twin guardian angels. After the sisters depart, Rio vanishes, prompting Gai and Maya to help Mio locate her. They soon face an attack from Rio, who has been controlled. Unable to defend themselves due to the fear of harming Rio, they summon Shin to manipulate time and restore her original state. However, this action severely weakens Shin, causing him to fall into a coma.
