The true identity of Senya Rin is exposed while Shuurei finds herself trapped within Chrysanthemum Castle. In response, Seiran and Ensei travel to the location with the dual objectives of rescuing Shūrei and apprehending Sakujun. During the confrontation, Sakujun manages to escape, taking Shuurei's flowerbud hairpin with him. Before fleeing, he instructs Shuurei to proceed to Koren. This sequence of events marks a critical turning point in the narrative, as the protagonists attempt to intervene in the escalating conflict while dealing with the sudden disappearance of their ally and the theft of a significant personal item.
