Shūrei, Eigetsu, Seiran, Ensei, and Shō Sai travel to Koren after learning of a blockade there. Shortly after they leave, Emperor Shūei and Kōyū arrive near Kinka. Emperor Ryūki and his allies intervene to help Seiran and Ensei navigate the Koren blockade. Meanwhile, Shūrei readies herself for an upcoming confrontation with Sakujun. The group faces significant obstacles as they attempt to reach their destination, requiring external assistance from Ryūki’s forces to overcome the blockade while other characters prepare for personal conflicts.
