While recuperating, Hakkai was assaulted by a group of humans characterized by yellow eyes. He managed to somehow rejoin Sanzo and the others. Despite the attack being the cause, their party had pointed their guns at humans. Feeling driven out, they left the city. Once again, Hazel appeared before them.
