The Sanzo group arrives in a city protected by a barrier created by Lord Soushin, which prevents demons from entering. Goku, Gojyo, and Hakkai, who are demons, are able to enter without issue, leading the group to view the cleric's power with suspicion. They take the opportunity to enjoy the vibrant city atmosphere after a long period of travel. Despite their initial relief and enjoyment of the urban environment, the situation is not as safe as it appears. A hidden trap awaits them within the city, complicating their stay and raising concerns about the true nature of the barrier and the cleric's intentions.
