Haruka and Yuu engage in an extended phone conversation as the New Year approaches, with Mitsuki briefly joining the call. When the clock strikes midnight, Yuu kisses Haruka over the line. Mitsuki feels jealous seeing the pair link arms, so she, Kaede, and Yuzu follow them to a park. They nearly witness a kiss, but Mitsuki trips, causing Haruka to catch her and resulting in an accidental forehead kiss. Afterward, Yuzu discusses learning to ride a scooter, while Kaede complains about difficulties with her siblings.
