Sankarea (OVA)

Chihiro, his father, Mero, and Ranko travel to Tohoku to assist in organizing his uncle's extensive book collection. During the journey, Chihiro recalls a bridge that feels familiar, prompting thoughts about his missing memories of his mother, Yuzuna. At the same time, Rea, recently out of middle school, endures verbal and emotional abuse from Aria, who is often drunk and takes it out on her. Later, Aria, feeling lonely after Danichirou's absence, falls asleep in the bath. Chihiro and his family find a silent girl beneath their temple, and when Rea looks for her at dinner time, she is pushed down the stairs. The next day, they notice hydrangea leaves have been destroyed, and that night, Rea sees the girl attempting to approach Chihiro.
