Ep. 1: Lafiel assumes command of Basroil while Jinto serves as supply officer during a ceasefire

Three years after hostilities began, a temporary ceasefire is ending. Lafiel becomes captain of the assault ship Basroil, with Jinto joining as a supply officer. They agree to maintain professional distance to prevent crew jealousy. Basroil performs poorly in simulation exercises, prompting Chief mechanic Samsonn and aware officers to task Jinto with boosting Lafiel’s self-confidence to ensure survival. The crew avoids angering Abriel by addressing these weaknesses. Basroil eventually joins other assault ships on standby at the Vobeirunei Naval Station. During this deployment, Jinto renews his personal vow to support Lafiel, balancing their past friendship with their current military duties in a tense political climate.
