Arihito Atobe, a former corporate worker, is reborn in a fantasy world after dying in a bus accident. In this new life, he becomes a Seeker and discovers a rare job class known as "rearguard." This role allows him to support a female-only party with abilities that enhance their attacks, defense, and recovery. Staying at the back of the formation also increases his companions' affection toward him. No longer bound by his past life, he embraces his new identity as a Seeker.
