Ep. 1: Heero Yuy crashes after Wing Gundam is intercepted by Zechs Merquise

In After Colony 195, five mobile suits called Gundams are deployed to Earth to defeat the United Earth Sphere Alliance and OZ. Four units arrive safely, but the fifth, the Wing Gundam, is intercepted by Lieutenant Zechs Merquise and crashes into the Pacific Ocean. Its pilot, Heero Yuy, survives the impact and washes ashore. There, he is found by Relena Darlian, who is the daughter of the Alliance's vice foreign minister. This event marks the beginning of the conflict as the rebels attempt to overthrow the militaristic regime that has oppressed the space colonies for decades through the use of secret weapons.
