Seiichi unties Oliga and provides food, while Louise explains her enslavement collar. A flashback reveals an assassin warning Zakia that the King controls the empire. Back in the present, Seiichi uses magic and the word "Free" to remove Oliga's collar, aided by President Linc. Oliga recounts how Kaiser's Army captured her family and trained survivors as assassins. Seiichi adopts her as a sister, and Saria agrees to stay with them. Later, while Seiichi trains magic with Louise's brother, Louise requests his help to protect the King. She informs him that she is departing on a trip that may last one month.
