At the academy, Kanazuki evades boys showing an enslavement bracelet. Saria reassures Arotoria about Seiichi’s loyalty. Oliga attacks Seiichi but is subdued. Louise, Asterio, and Lorna report that a cursed weapon injured the King. Seiichi treats Ranze, accidentally saying "better," which transforms the slumber into a charm and breaks the curse. Ranze offers a reward, but Seiichi requests training with Louise. Meanwhile, heroes are teleported to Barbador Magic Academy. Commander Zakia questions King Kaiser about their location. Kaiser claims the heroes are slaves sent by him. Assistant Helio Robhn confirms enslavement bracelets were placed on them. An arrow is shot at Kaiser from a window, but Zakia saves him and pursues the attacker.
