After defeating a slime, Seiichi and Saria enter a town where they pass an identification check and join a guild. Receptionist Eris Mcclain assigns them to Arotoria, an A-ranked adventurer who initially refuses but eventually accepts the role of proctor. Arotoria leads them to a church for their first quest, which involves watching over children, while Saria remains behind. For the second task, Seiichi demolishes a building with a touch, but the structure collapses on him. Arotoria searches for him, expressing shock and relief when he emerges unharmed, emphasizing that sensing danger is more important than raw power. Meanwhile, Commander Zakia and his assistant Orphe discuss the previous five months of training and their opposition to the war with demons. The final quest involves walking a dog that turns out to be a giant wolf, which Seiichi completes. Upon returning to the guild, they receive a large reward from Guscle. The episode concludes with the surprising invitation from Artoria for Seiichi and Saria to stay at her home.
