Masahiro, Guren, and other shikigami attempt to rescue Akiko by confronting the hawk demons Gaku and Shun. Seiiryu refuses to accept Masahiro as Seimei’s heir and actively tries to exclude him from the battle. This exclusion causes significant annoyance for Masahiro, who remains determined to participate in the rescue operation alongside his companions against the opposing forces.
