Attendees gather at Boodookan for the Grateful Rock Festival, where Cyan is anxious about not hearing from Strawberry Heart since rescuing Chuchu. Meanwhile, Dagger intends to use a composition by Grateful King to conquer Midi City. During the event, the groups Plasmagica, Shingancrimsonz, Tsurezurenaru, and Trichronika are ambushed by a Dark Monster, resulting in the capture of most attendees. Only Cyan, Shu-zo, and Darudayu remain free. While Darudayu engages the creature in combat, Cyan uncovers the shocking truth that the Dark Monster is actually Rosia, an agent of Criticrista. This revelation adds a dangerous layer to the festival's chaos as the heroes face a formidable enemy disguised as a monster.
