The mysterious man reveals himself as the commercial director, appearing moved by the girls' discussion. When Erika attempts bribery, the director refuses, linking her to the girl previously mentioned. Erika forbids Kyoko and Moko from discussing the audition to prevent their natural rapport from giving them an advantage, especially since the director plans to feature two girls. Despite this, Kyoko and Moko pass the first test with a single line in sixty seconds, unlike other pairs who had twenty minutes of preparation. In the second test, Erika steals Kyoko's concept after overhearing her decision and executes it first. Kyoko stands horrified, wondering if they will pass, while Moko and the director realize the theft and ponder the outcome separately.
