Ep. 21: Kyoko joins the Dark Moon remake cast alongside Ren and faces scrutiny from Ms. Iizuka.
Aired on March 2, 2009

Kyoko accepts the role of Mio in Dark Moon, a remake of the popular series Tsukigomori from 20 years ago, primarily because Ren is playing Katsuki. She initially refused the part, feeling unsuited for a refined, wealthy character. The current production team aims to surpass the original drama's success. During filming, Kyoko encounters Ms. Iizuka, who portrayed Mio in Tsukigomori and now plays Mio's mother. Ms. Iizuka questions Kyoko's suitability for the role. When Kyoko fails to answer one of the questions adequately, Ms. Iizuka demands her dismissal from the cast.
