Ep. 24: Ren struggles with his Katsuki role while Kyoko helps him through a personal crisis
Aired on March 23, 2009

Ren loses his ability to portray Katsuki, leading to an emotional breakdown that prompts the director to suggest a break. He must rediscover a version of the character that surpasses the original. Sho remains outwardly calm regarding Kyoko and Ren’s names on the Dark Moon promo poster, though his imagination fuels hidden jealousy. Kyoko, empathizing with Ren’s distress, seeks out Bo to assist him after encountering him at the location of his previous minor meltdown. During their conversation, Kyoko discovers Ren’s lack of a romantic life is hindering his performance. She helps him recognize he is experiencing love for the first time, unaware that the person he has fallen for is actually Kyoko herself.
