With low class enthusiasm for the sports festival, Nao volunteers herself and the girls for the relay team. Yayoi lacks confidence in her running but is encouraged by Nao’s desire to run together. However, overhearing negative comments from other students causes Yayoi to doubt herself again. On the day of the event, Akaoni summons a blue-nosed Basket Akanbe, leading to a tug of war with the girls. Nao refuses to accept Akaoni’s rejection of teamwork, prompting Yayoi to regain her confidence and help defeat the creature. During the relay, Yayoi receives support from the class and successfully passes the baton. Although Nao trips and finishes last, her friends console her while classmates commend their effort and enjoyment of the day.
