Feb 5, 2012Transfer student Miyuki Hoshizora encounters a Märchenland pixie named Candy and finds a pink book. At school, classmate Akane Hino helps her introduce herself. Later, Miyuki discovers a portal to a magical library. Meanwhile, Wolfrun, a commander from the Bad End Kingdom, chases Candy and uses his powers to make townsfolk despair, aiming to gather negative energy to resurrect his master, Pierrot. Miyuki risks her life to protect Candy and receives a magic compact called a Smile Pact. This item transforms her into the magical warrior Cure Happy. Wolfrun creates a monster called an Akanbe to fight her. Miyuki eventually masters her powers to destroy the Akanbe and gains a Cure Décor from its remains.

Reika snaps out of a trance upon seeing Majorina destroy a puppet and refuses to let her friends' work go to waste, gaining the power to become Cure Beauty. She deduces the real Akanbe, destroys it, drives Majorina off, and allows the performance to resume.

Majorina creates a drink can Akanbe that ambushes the Precure. Pop transforms into a recycling bin to weaken the enemy, allowing the girls to destroy it and insert a new Cure Décor. After Pop returns to Märchenland, the group tries to cheer up a hungry Candy.

Akane, Nao, and Reika use a Cure Décors to gain butterfly wings, consume the candy to force the Akanbe to release their friends, and defeat the monster. Wolfrun and Akaoni also participate, but their nihilist brand of humor fails to win the audience compared to the girls who blunder over their routine. Majorina makes her move at that moment to place comedy-draining neck rings on the Fujiwara duo before taking the audience's negative while creating two Akanbe who overpower the Precure. But the tables are turned when the Fujiwara duo break free of Majorina's spell with their comedy to distract the Akanbe long enough to be destroyed. While the Fujiwara duo promise to not divulge the Precures' civilian identities, they still parody them in their comedy routine.

Meanwhile, Joker recovers an egg-like remnant of Pierrot and equips Wolfrun with an enhanced Akanbe Nose. This allows Wolfrun to create a powerful Gingerbread House Super Akanbe. The PreCures summon Princess Candles to defeat the monster, earning two new Cure Décors. Queen then telepathically informs the group that she used previous Décor power to grant Princess Forms. She explains that they must collect more Cure Décors to fill the Décor Décor and complete the mission to revive her.
