Koyori and friends visit a new spa while Takeshi and Mayuko attend separately.
Sep 25, 2007This episode takes place between broadcast episodes four and five. Koyori wins tickets to a newly opened family spa and water park, attending with Yorito, Mana, and their friends, while Aono remains hospitalized. Takeshi also wins tickets and brings Mayuko. At the park, Takeshi initially chases Yorito, believing Matsuri is present, but she cannot attend due to her Yaka condition. Once Takeshi realizes Matsuri is absent, he calms down, and Yorito meets Mayuko along with the other friends. After sunset, Matsuri arrives at the park, but Takeshi and Mayuko have already departed. The OVA omits that Mayuko is also a Yaka and depicts all girls in a mineral pool with sunset-colored windows.

Yorito and Mana visit hospitalized Aono before her birthday while he seeks sunrise photos.
Oct 26, 2007This episode functions as a prologue leading into the first episode. Mana is annoyed that Yorito prioritizes photographing the sky over visiting his sister Aono in the hospital. On the day before Aono's birthday, Mana forces Yorito to help order a cake, and they subsequently visit her. During the visit, Yorito considers bringing sky photos, but Aono requests a picture of the sunrise instead. Yorito returns home to print existing sunrise images but finds them unsatisfactory and goes out to take a new one. While outside capturing the image, he encounters Matsuri for the first time.
