Ep. 2: Yorito and Mana visit hospitalized Aono before her birthday while he seeks sunrise photos.

This episode functions as a prologue leading into the first episode. Mana is annoyed that Yorito prioritizes photographing the sky over visiting his sister Aono in the hospital. On the day before Aono's birthday, Mana forces Yorito to help order a cake, and they subsequently visit her. During the visit, Yorito considers bringing sky photos, but Aono requests a picture of the sunrise instead. Yorito returns home to print existing sunrise images but finds them unsatisfactory and goes out to take a new one. While outside capturing the image, he encounters Matsuri for the first time.
