Sonico rescues a stray Munchkin cat and names him Rice, adding him to her household of five other cats: Cha, Shu, Men, Naruto, and Ajitama. Rice fails to integrate well with the group and attempts to leave the apartment to find his original owner. When he escapes, Sonico and the other cats pursue him. Rice encounters a dangerous dog but is saved by his new feline friends, who ensure he reaches Sonico safely. She then returns him to his owner to reunite with his mother. Afterward, Rice visits Sonico’s apartment to spend time with his new cat companions.
