Insecure hina doll tailor Wakana Gojou isolates himself due to fear of ridicule. After a conversation with popular classmate Marin Kitagawa about honesty, he uses a school sewing machine when his breaks. Kitagawa arrives, admires his skills, and reveals a cosplay outfit for the character Shizuku Kuroe. She asks Gojou to make it, explaining its importance to her. Despite never creating clothing for a real person, Gojou agrees to help and promises to do his best, delighting Kitagawa.
