The night before school resumes, Gojo experiences an intense wet dream involving Kitagawa. Consequently, he spends the day evading her at school. Kitagawa eventually locates him at the entrance and invites him to shop for outfit materials, but Gojo initially refuses. Upon finding him again, she learns he left due to low self-esteem and reassures him of their friendship. They visit several shops together. Later, they eat at a ramen shop where their discussion of the Slippery Girls games embarrasses other patrons. On the walk home, Gojo confesses that his profession forces him to reserve terms like beautiful or pretty for things he genuinely values. Kitagawa mentions a cosplay event in two weeks, causing Gojo to worry about the tight deadline.
